Here are a few points about present activities.

    1. Tree Planting Day,2008 was a great success. Over 40 people came to help, the atmosphere was great. Everybody had a good d ay except those who came late and we had run out of dug holes.

    2. Council has supplied us with a shipping container ,an almost new one from China as storage for our materials. It is on site next to the  nursery . a bit of an eyesore but it will be very useful.

    3. We have started planting in our nursery in a small way , and have about 300 seedlings.

    4. Rod Keevers has promised to come one morning and give us more info re planting seeds. We are real novices in this field, but are willing to learn.

    5.Contact has been made with Cabarita Dunecare  and will help them when possible.

    6.Pottsville D.C. have seedlings and will s tore them in our nursery

    7.Most of our group will attend the Chem. cert course being organised by Rod.

     8.We hope to organise a stall on election day, information and fundraising.
