Tweed Landcare Inc. was formed as
an incorporated community group in late 1997 through the Tweed
Catchment Management Committee based on the following objectives
-
To
form an association of members who agree with
the definition and objectives of total catchment
management as set out in the Catchment
Management Act 1989 and who share the ideals of
the landcare (Landcare, Coastcare, Dunecare,
Rivercare..) movement.

To
initiate, develop, carry out, monitor and
evaluate landcare projects as decided by members
and to obtain funding from any appropriate
source.
