The
Oxley Cove Community Landcare group was formed
in September 2006 in an endeavour to complement
the work being done by Council under the Oxley
Cove Land Management Plan.
Over
the 26 years since the opening of the Oxley Cove
subdivision located on the Tweed River opposite
Chinderah, the banks are rapidly eroding and the
land has become overrun by environmental weeds.
Trees were being deliberately chopped out to
enhance residents' views.
Our
monthly Working Bee is held on the first
Sunday of the month between 8.30am and 12 noon
at a location nominated on our noticeboard
which is displayed the preceding week.
